…of all the Nations
Application
- Some who hear the Gospel are “more noble-minded,” recognizing that they do not know all facts and truth, so they will investigate the veracity of claims before “swallowing it.”
- Believers in the Lord Jesus Christ should expect the enemy to rally the troops, bring reinforcements, etc., when the Gospel is pounding on the gate of an unbeliever’s heart.
- Conclusion: Regarding testifying for the Lord Jesus Christ, sometimes God the Holy Spirit leads a believer one way and sometimes another. “Breadcrumbs” are always better than “dump trucks.”
Bible Text
13 But when the Jews of Thessalonica found out that the word of God had been proclaimed by Paul in Berea also, they came there as well, agitating and stirring up the crowds. 14 Then immediately the brothers sent Paul out to go as far as the sea; and Silas and Timothy remained there. 15 Now those who escorted Paul brought him as far as Athens; and receiving a command for Silas and Timothy to come to him as soon as possible, they left.
